Creation of the Database
Participating Organisations - database creators

• selected scientific and popular periodicals,
• scholarly journals edited by 22 co-operating institutions,
• conference proceedings from the above sources.

• article description (bibliographic records): authors names, article title in Polish and/or in English, source, year of publication, document type, language, author affiliation and e-mail (if appears in a journal), authors keywords in Polish and/or in English (if appears in a journal), usually abstract in Polish and/or English. Some fields such as author names, source and e-mail to the author appear as links to another publication
• journal description: journal name, publisher, address, ISSN, URL and e-mail, frequency, indexed years as links to bibliographic references of articles from given year, links to "Selected full texts" on the Web, and links to subscribers e.i. 21 co-operating libraries (full-text of articles indexed in BazTech can be ordered from this libraries)

• completing the form which contains all elements of records (title words, keywords, authors names, source, year, publication type and language), except the words from abstracts.» more information
• browsing the indexes such as Journals Indexed, Keywords list (in Polish), Keywords list (in English) which allow to select terms and retrieve information without specific search terms. » more information

• after searching by specific terms using search form - a brief list of citations (author name and article title) that match a search; all titles are links to the full bibliographic records
• after browsing the indexes - appropriate alphabetical list of journal titles or keywords which allow direct links to journal description with table of contents from given year or list of article titles with selected keyword.
