Quick hints
There are two ways to search the database. You can type or select terms in one or more more of the search fields or browse indexes (Journals, Keywords) by using the buttons located at the top of this page.
The Search form - general instructions (read more in How to search):
- multiple field searches are automatically combined with the AND operator,
- you can type one or more complete or incomplete terms; there are no right truncation symbols, e.g. searching for absorpt will find absorption, absorption spectrometry,
- with keywords you can specify left truncation - %, e.g. searching for %pump will find circulating pump, rotary pump, heat pump,
- in fields "Words in title" or "Keywords" the terms (whole or partial) can be separated by commas - comma means logical OR,
- in field "Word(s) in title" you can type only single term in one box. If you search phrase type one word in first box and another words in next box. They are automatically combined with the AND operator.
